“Analysis and Application Paper-Analysis Section” Stress has been considered a part of everyday life, and it affects everyone at some point and time. Some people may cope with stress more effectively or recover from stressful events quicker than others. It 's important to know your limits when it comes to stress to avoid serious health effects. Stress is caused by many things, but mainly when people have change in their lives, from getting married to determining what graduate school to attend or most common trying to stay ahead in the work place. Changes can be positive or negative, as well as real or perceived. The chapter identifies how people can respond to work stress, by setting goals, by controlling their work stress and finally by learning to pace and balance oneself to avoid burnout.
