I find it a pleasure to write about a wonderful event, a true story of how our God used a man name Moses to bring his people, or as he called them in the Bible, the “children of Israel” out of Egypt. The Exodus. We also looking at the call and commission of Moses. Truly, every word of this great move of God, on behalf of his people is such of an example for us today, to help us remember that God will bring his people out. And this true story written in the Torah, in the second book, also reminds us of God’s greatness, power, long suffering, Love, and patient with his people. It make me want to ask the question, who wouldn’t want to serve a God like the children of Israel’s God. I want to study this walk back to the beginning of this story in the third chapter of Exodus studying at the second nerve, and the angel of the Lord appeared into him in a flame of fire out of the midst of a bush; and burned with fire, and the bush was not consumed. And Moses said, I will now turn aside, and see great sight. Why the bush is not burnt and when the Lord saw that he turned aside to see, God called unto him out of the midst of the bush, and said Moses, Moses, and he said, “Here am I” (Catholic Study Bible). To me just this part of God calling Moses to this great task is enough to make me want to tell everybody, about somebody who can save anybody, and this story gives a new meaning of the words to the song “How Great Thou Art.” Moses I can imagine was in total amazement after seeing…
