Immigration has been a front running story in the United States for years, why don’t we let them in American or why should we let them in America, and or why don’t they just follow the rules to get in American. All of the questions are asked by America and there is always conflicting answer to go with those conflicting question. It is helpful to take a moment to reflect on the important contributions by the generations of immigrants who have helped us build our economy, and made America the economic engine of the world (Furman & Gray, 2012).” Then there is the other side of the coin, there are other Americans that do and don’t want Immigration in American. These Americas do not want a lot of immigrant but these Americans what immigrants to stay do what they should to become legal, “Many Americans wonder why all immigrants do not just come to the United States legally or simply “get in line” to gain residence (a “green card”) if they are undocumented (American Immigration Council, 2013).” Americans also feel that the flood of illegal immigrants who have hiked the crime rate, overwhelmed the social-services system and driven down wages.
What about the American government reason legalizing immigration means more money paid to their political parties and more voters. When it comes to the government it is always been the same and will stay the same for many years to come, greed and power makes the government go round just like my Daddy would say. The interests of each party are simple, the immigrant s just want to live a good life and make a better life for their children the best way they can legal or illegal, whatever it takes to get out of the current situation they are in.
