When it comes to the topic of Euthanasia, most of us will readily agree that it is a debatable topic. Where this agreement usually ends however, is on the question of whether a person should have the right to end their own life based on their own sufferings while others maintains that children should also be given this right. My own view is that euthanasia should be allowed for any stage of sufferers, but not by involuntary death without your consent.
Under certain circumstances certain individuals do believe that euthanasia is a form of suicide, and does not help the individuals. Many people believe that euthanasia is suicide. There should be a formal evaluation before suicide is considered or even foreseen by a physician. There are few states that do allow such things as euthanasia based on the sole decision of the person whether it is from a medical or spiritual point of view. Instead of suicide, you would seek the aid of your physician.
Most states do not allow this as a doctor would be charged with murder if it is not legal in that state. There are doctors and patients in states that are trying to get it legalized so they may assist individuals who are suffering.
