Another bad experience that made me the writer I am now, was the English class I took my senior year. Everyone painted senior year to be the easiest year of all and that the teachers are not as demanding since it is your last year. The completely opposite happened to me, of course, I had put myself through another high level class, this time it was not honors but AP! What the hell was I thinking? I had chosen to take an AP English class with Santa Claus. Santa Claus was my English teacher’s nickname, Mr. Leblanc. He was short, fat and white hair and a white beard. I was no secret that I hated him so much. He did not teach us anything or even bother to prepare us for the AP exam. All he did during class was talk about his personal life and his family and whatever he did during college. I certainly did not care about his life; my mom had already paid $200 extra for that AP class in addition to my $9,000 tuition. All that money was a complete waste because I learned nothing and I did not get the scored I wanted. I cannot blame it all on Mr. Leblanc because I had the opportunity to prepare myself on my own, but I just felt like it should have been something my English teacher who was being paid for that, should have done. He never took the class seriously, expect when it came to the exams. He expected us to write essays about things and in a certain way, when we had not practiced for it! He would grade us on practice AP questions and he would not even go over the answers right.…
