There are many different views on abortion weather it is right or wrong. Many people have their opinions and views on this topic. Throughout this paper, I will deconstruct Mary Anne Warren 's view on abortion, dealing with her thoughts on the moral and legal status of abortion, as well as my thoughts on her reasoning. Though the question of is abortion right or wrong is very contrasting, with all the aspects that it deals with, you have to decide is, or is it not wrong. The initial thing an individual should first overcome is what is abortion? The definition of abortion is "when a pregnancy is ended so that it doesn 't result in the birth of a child. Sometimes it is called termination of pregnancy" (What). The first thing Warren wants the reader to understand is, at what point do you classify a fetus as a human being. Warren adds, "that the fetus has no comparison to that of a human being therefore it does not have moral rights in the early stages of development" (White 111). This being stated she claims that if a women does want to get an abortion she does it before it gets to the third trimester, because it is not morally a human being. Some people argue that a fetuses are human from the time of conception. So that being said as soon as you find out that you are pregnant, and you plan to get an abortion, and it is before the third trimester are still killing an human being.
