Ideally, clone have the potential to solve many problems that plague our world today. There are a lot of things that we could have clones doing to benefit our society such as farming or gathering other food resources and much more. However, the world is not yet sophisticated enough to handle concept of cloning. The first thing we must do in order to even contemplate the idea of clones is to have a standard definition of a human being. Personally, I believe in order for a human to be human one must meet one of the two requirements; have human features and or attributes, and aware of ones and others consciences being. But the definition of a human being is multifarious, what I believe a human to be is different to what you believe a human to be. Just because you have a different definition doesn’t mean that either or is more right it just means that we have serious issues already identifying whom is human and whom is not as it is right now so why add clones to the confusion. Currently, mankind has yet to standardize the quality of life for all naturally conceived humans, thus the probability of humans coming to an agreement on what clones are and are not entitled to as clones will be very difficult. Thus we cannot clone anything that we full do not understand nor agree on. We would have to first come to an understanding on important issues such as abortion, or same-sex marriage before we can toss something else into the equation.
