"Those who do not learn history are doomed to repeat it." (George Santayana). There is endless knowledge in the world, from the living and in the books of the dead. This world becomes so much larger once one opens their minds to the information discovered by the past. It is so important that we as society understands that such wisdom is out there. Everyday we are living in the past instead of advancing forward, because we are stuck repeating mistakes that have already been made. In this modern world the biggest mistake we face is making mistakes. So many lives have lived before us that everyone is going through something that somebody has once overcame, yet we refuse to look for the wisdom of those who have overcame. This relates to one of today 's greatest issues, Global Warming. With so many scientists,and governments stuck on what to do we still hold the opportunity to make the right choice on the dilemma by looking at not only humanities history full of knowledge, but also our planets. We still have time to take another look at the possibility that the issue is not in fact an issue. Although Global Warming holds the potential to become a threat to our planet, dramatic climate changes are a natural occurrence and to act on solely the potential of danger would prove to be naive of humanity.
