People may suggest that everyday energy used is from power plants, which stores energy to power a whole city. It is usually thought of renewable resources, such as water, the sun, wind, etc., to be nothing but ordinary resources. Without individuals really thinking about it, they can use the everyday resources to power energy through many types of technologies used today. People have created machinery that can use the renewable resources for energy. There may be disadvantages, but current energy sources can make up for it. There are many different types of technologies used to power energy by using renewable resources that can make the world a better place.
To begin, one of the first renewable resources that is converted into electricity is solar energy. Scientists have found a way to use the sun to help communities in different ways. Solar technologies were created to use the sun’s energy to provide heat, light, hot water, and electricity for many homes, businesses, and industries. For different needs in life, there are different solar collectors built. One is called passive solar buildings designs which gets the suns heat and converts it into space heating and light. The way it is processed is with the help of mirrors that get the suns heat to make a high heat source, which creates mechanical power that runs a generator and produces electricity. Research shows that “There are now over 20,000 MW (megawatts) of cumulative solar electric capacity operating in the U.S.,…
