After calming the lives of 150,000 people, and making more than 1,200,000 people homeless, A big question is being created in the mind of people and earthquake experts; who is the next? Now, after Haiti, Geophysics’ are more concerned about Nepal and its future possible earthquake strike because of its geographical make up.
Nepal lies just above the border between two huge plates that have moved together over millions of years to form the Himalayas. Nepal lies in just above the seismic zone and tectonic plate which is one of those countries where the earthquakes are frequent and sometimes very devastating.

The prediction of next earthquake and its damages is going to be worst than anyone could imagine. Kathmandu, which is the capital city of Nepal, will be badly affected by the next earthquake. Since, Kathmandu is a biggest city of Nepal, this place is a business centre too. Since 5 years, the buildings are being built for the business purpose. Now, many shopping malls and complexes everywhere, which are built in less than 5 months which a poor construction methods. Being a capital city, the population is increasing day per day, now Kathmandu, has the population of 1,442,271. This is a city, which has major hospitals and Nursing homes, business office, government offices and everything major aspects of the nations. In the same way, this is the same place which will suffer the maximum disaster in the next earthquake threats. The level of the disaster can be so devastating. People will suffer from the death, illness and starvation, if the earthquake strikes this place. Nepal is a beautiful country with mountains and hills and forests, but Nepalese has a threat that this beauty will turn to a nightmare one day and people will suffer from the massive level of destruction. Even still in Terai reason of Nepal, many people are homeless because of the recurring flooding of caused by Koshi River, a largest river of Nepal. Every year average of 330 deaths dies because of the landslide and flooding, resulting many people homeless and children orphans.
